The Cafeteria module allows Colleges to maintain meal plans, meal accounts, menus, tracking daily/monthly quantities of food purchase &consumption, food wastage etc. Canteens can have an option of can restrict access based on roles, and users using smart cards, which can also be used for paying their bills with a debit account. .This module helps handling the food expenditure of the students as well as staff. Hence parents can also impose food restrictions and set spend limits on students. Seats can be reserved & meals can be ordered in advance. Students can submit feedback and suggestions on the menu, cooking methods & facilities in the canteen also .Based on all these, a data collection system has been designed & implemented. This helps the canteen manager to have better information which can be used in making decisions on menu planning, the type of food, quantity etc.
